As previously indicated by “Watch TV” in a previous article, Habib Al-Shoubani, head of the Daraa Tafilalet region, failed to hold the regular session for the month of October for the second time in a row, as Shoubani had to postpone the meeting for the second time to next week, because it was held by those who attended in accordance with the law framing the Council’s work Regional.

In exchange for postponing the meeting for the second time, the opposition groups in the Draa Tafilalet Council, supported by petitions signed by the actors in the region, continue their steps to remove President Habib Choubani from the presidency of the Council, as the process is close to verification, if the third meeting of the Council fails.

The Draa Tafilalet Council, since its inception in 2015, has been experiencing bitter conflicts between Al-Shoubani and his advisors from the Justice and Development Party, and the rest of the other party groups that formed the council, as conflicts and wars have escalated within the council, coinciding with the upcoming legislative elections in 2021.
